We organize the scouting sections for young people in Goring following the policies and rules of The Scout Association. We offer fun and games, exciting activities and new challenges within our three sections, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Our normal meetings are in the Scout hut, called Storton Lodge. But we also go on trips. Short ones, such as walks or explorations starting from the scout hut. A bit further for hiking, sailing, canoeing, museums, and many more. And we wouldn't be scouts without exciting camping trips.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts is open to boys and girls. Girls also have the option of joining Rainbows, Brownies, or Guides, all run by the 1st Goring-on-Thames Girl Guides.
Everything we organize is run by volunteers from the local community.
Our web site is still new, so please come back again soon for some examples of what we do.
